I dunno, BK. Hoping, like Indie, that this is sacrcasm. Fear and loneliness are illusions, much like drugs, and both will take you down a path until you believe your existence doesn't mean shit to anyone else.

Fear and loneliness are an aspect of our human condition. I believe we need to embrace all our shadows to be whole.

I agree, to a certain extent. Embracing and believing them as truth are two different things.

Fear has kept me from experiencing certain things (well may be it was more doubt), like I wasn't good enough to do drum corps, but it also kept me from going to some dangerous places. I guess it's a subjective thing.

I think of it as more of a place we don't want to go to or even look at as a possibility.
