A Lady In Mourning

All the townspeople were fraught with fear
Believing Lady Prescott's ghost was real
In life, the woman had been so revered
For her rare beauty and sexual appeal

No one could've imagained her life
Would come to an end at the hand
Of the shiftless lover that she had had
A  sexual sadist of the cruelest kind

Often times, she has been reportedly seen
Standing in front of the old  chapel in the red gown
She was wearing when she was gunned down
Inside of which her body had been found
