Happy
Is not common, but is a core
Of the emotions to explore
Of the four "H"s
It is genuine joy,
A pleasure, but fades like a new toy.

Helpful
Is something you do,
But given to you.
Helpful to others, helpful to yourself
Not a state of mind,
But something deep inside.

Hate
Violence and selfishness
Towards anyone, if you choose
But please do choose
To instead do "H" number two.

Harm
Is different than hate,
By action to how help is to happy,
Take control and act out
The violent thoughts that swirl about.

We all have the four "H"s
Somewhere inside.
Just learn them
To be able to guide.
