The Lady Blue ( The Big Break-up)

Gary had a big mad on and wouldn't listen when I told him nothing happened between me and Joe that afternoon. In the end he softened some but made me promise that I would tell him if Joe ever made a serious play for me.

So things went along the same as before for a while but my relationship with Gary was strained. I had grown fond of Joe but I still loved Gary.
And then things got really messy because Gary suspected that I was sleeping with Joe though it just wasn't true. I was not able to convince him otherwise and he eventually let me go once again.

Joe jumped at the chance of taking Gary's place in my bed and soon after we had sex for the first time, Joe asked if he could move in with me.

So, that's how Joe and I got intimately involved. Things were never the same again at the club. Gary had distanced himself from me and was cold towards Joe, too. It broke my heart. There were times I was scared Gary was going to fire Joe or me and maybe both of us because of our affair.
When I was honest with myself, I really didn't believe he would let me go. I was the new favorite songbird among the crowd at the Lady Blue and was making Gary filthy rich with my voice. He wouldn't dare fire me I decided for that reason alone. But Joe was another story altogether.
Still Gary let him stay on too though I swear at times there was a growing sadness in his eyes

Once Joe and I were established as a couple Joe actually quit the band. He still stayed with me and the two of us kept getting closer in everyway.
