deep in her Xanadu
where heaven sings
June heat
hidden in ruffles
of her pleated skirt
scarlet manicure
strums golden lyre
into Appassionato
her sly grin
enfolds tongue
in wicked ploy
madhouse roses
blossom in spring
upon grapevines
