The Whore of Babylon

I thought you did a great job, all the different haiku's  
flowed great and were seamless.  
To create verse with haiku's, takes a lot of talent.  
You my friend have it.

I'm not against sex at all.  It's a healthy part of life in a marriage to keep behind closed doors.  Every significant other knows that.  I was going for capturing the degradative filth flooding into our minds on a daily basis from the advent of technology, and the accelerated corruption that comes along with it.  Fornication, promiscuity, adultery, and sexual immorality will really destroy a person to no coming back.  Satan has had an influence on every culture and empire in the past.to really enforce the "divination" of erotic desire.  It's simply meant for marriage, not a separate entity of modality and worship.  Anyway, the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation prophesy about the history of Satan's empires.  I simply use some of these metaphors in that context, in many other writings, which gives me a solid basis of creativity to show some of the injustice, hypocrisy, and insanity that people will do to themselves, perpetuated by Satan, collected together in this modern age.  The intoxication metaphor and the psychedelic language, particularly here, showcase warped perception from the sins themselves, and building empires on them.  It's all coming to a great transition of reality.  This is simply where we're at now in time - the advent of technology the past 200 years, and what it is doing to man are a part of the process.  The whore of Babylon is prophesied to fall.

Yeah, and I don't intend offense.  In fact, my mom and dad divorced when I was a teenager.  I just believe in faithful monogamy and including God in that, which is what matrimony is about.  Anyway, I didn't mean to unload all of that onto you.  It gets exceedingly frustrating, being so misunderstood, yet being so sure.  I think many brilliant people throughout generations have had to deal with such.  Any society has had ideas concrete to them that smart people see past or choose not to be a part of.  I know you were referring to society's greed, but I wanted to be clear as to what the metaphor of sexuality means and how it's used by me, commonly.  You're right, in that society is greedy.  Anyway, thanks for commenting, and take care!
