regaining focus my mind settles
this was a difficult test to go through
I've come to realize I am loved unconditionally
 
our relationship difficult at times took a tale spin
realizing I too get distracted by the world
it is the laws of attraction
 
confessing to him I'd been spending emotional time with another
uttering he showed true interest in me and I liked it
with the knowledge I have loved my husband but haven't always liked him
 
dreaming of different shores where everything is perfect
is an illusion that has shattered
it's time to put away little girl dreams
it's time to grow in the woman I can be
 
showing true affection and interest
being unconditional in my love for him
I am in debt to him
he loves me year in and out
loves me through my crazy phases
has loved me through infidelity and sickness
so, with a vow to do my best
and avoid self-sabotage
 
I look forward to a new chapter in our life
