Growing Younger

I'm getting younger
every day
I gave up work
to go out and play

I look in the mirror
with a smile on my face
I can't see a wrinkle
there's not a line to trace

I used to walk with a stoop
but now I stand tall
my best friends
are a bat and a ball

I eat what I like
and don't watch my weight
with plenty of pudding
to fill my plate

My hair's growing back
and my abs are tight
my girlfriend tells me
I'm doing alright

We make love at weekends
and pick wild flowers
then I relax
with a nice cold shower

When I jump on my bike
I can cycle for hours
the hills are no match
for my superpowers

So if years are bars
then I'll rattle my cage
'cause I can see no reason
to act my age

I'm getting younger
every day
and I couldn't care less
what people say
