Taraxacum

04/30

Taraxacum

Rooted underground but not very deep
It’s dandy to use in tonic or tea

Stems and leaves, this lion of a plant
can be found amidst the garden
jungle of flowers and weeds

Sold for a pretty price
if You’d rather use for salads
in lieu of spraying an eliminating
concoction to make
‘em go away

Bright yellows is its disguise
To cause our eyes to wonder

Some see it as a bother
some, like me,
see Food!
