Silk fuchsia ponytail.

I would cut myself into silk fuchsia ribbons to gift you colour when you only see darkness. In those moments I know you think too much about the past and how you live with regret. How your feelings are muffled into shapes and shadows that looks like you and follow you but doesn’t allow the sun sets. You are not your mistakes or your fears you are just stuck in illusions. The darkness isn’t your friend it just wants to keep you in the shade. How can you grow without the sun and the rain and hazy days. Take the ribbons tie them in your high ponytail as a reminder. Kindness and self compassion are your best friends they just need nurturing and time.
