The Avenging Ghost
"Why did you run me over?"
But you say nothing as You examine my broken body
Lying on the lonely road
The driver speaks to the passenger Who is still in the car
He laughs like a man possessed "It's alright" he shouts
"Another victim to add to my list!" He laughs again
As he returns to his car, and drives off
I'm barely alive I somehow manage to cross the road
Towards the woods To hide, just in case he comes back
But i knew i was dying
My last living thoughts Who would look after my children?
I left my dead body behind As i found myself levitating
And becoming like a grey mist
As i looked down on my lifeless body
Angry that i was a victim of a roadhog
And that he laughed at my death
And that now my children were now orphans
As their father had died shortly before they were born
I somehow knew i would find this man
As i felt a rage inside me, i had never known before
I soon found the drivers car Parked on his driveway
I sensed that he was alone So i entered his house
He was sat on a chair watching something on a box thing
And laughing
But he stopped suddenly As i think he sensed my presence
As he turned round, and looked at me
I could see the hairs rise at the back of his head
As a look of terror was writ on his face
That he was being haunted by a hedgehog
The shock killed him
Moments after this I began to fade away
Worrying only
About the safety of my baby hoglets
