Scrambling on the ground
I’m scrambling on the ground
Tryna find a pound
Can’t afford my rent
The systems fucking bent
I can’t afford food
I’ve lost a fucking screw
Life feels so depraved
My reactions been delayed
I don’t want your sympathy
I wanna keep my dignity
Just help a geezer out
And stop with all your clout
I want us to be free
Abolish the depravity
That grips the whole world
It’s a story still untold
You don’t think of us paupers
You rape our sons and daughters
You slaughter us
You torture us
You tear us up and swallow us
The gravity of my reality
It’s killing me
I’ve lost all my morality
I need totality and clarity
Can someone wake me up?
Can someone shake me up?
I need a hand
To withstand
Being trapped in this traumatic land
Tryna find a pound
Can’t afford my rent
The systems fucking bent
I can’t afford food
I’ve lost a fucking screw
Life feels so depraved
My reactions been delayed
I don’t want your sympathy
I wanna keep my dignity
Just help a geezer out
And stop with all your clout
I want us to be free
Abolish the depravity
That grips the whole world
It’s a story still untold
You don’t think of us paupers
You rape our sons and daughters
You slaughter us
You torture us
You tear us up and swallow us
The gravity of my reality
It’s killing me
I’ve lost all my morality
I need totality and clarity
Can someone wake me up?
Can someone shake me up?
I need a hand
To withstand
Being trapped in this traumatic land
