growing a garden
i don’t even know where to start,
you water the flowers inside my heart.
you found them lying lifeless,
spoliated by the spineless,
the decayed, black petals remind us.
but baby your love is priceless.
your unconditional care made for a quick repair,
your love, like a breath of fresh air.
with you, this life i want to share,
and i swear no one could ever compare.
your gentle nature thawed the icy glacier,
that was my heart.
the wicked had torn me apart,
without remark, and left me in the dark.
but you were there,
it was you who pulled me out of that horrible pit of despair,
and when nobody else seemed to care,
you were well aware.
you really mean the world to me,
when i’m with you comfort is a guarantee.
my love for you is bigger than the amount of stars in the sky.
i promise to stay by your side until the day i die.
you water the flowers inside my heart.
you found them lying lifeless,
spoliated by the spineless,
the decayed, black petals remind us.
but baby your love is priceless.
your unconditional care made for a quick repair,
your love, like a breath of fresh air.
with you, this life i want to share,
and i swear no one could ever compare.
