Hermit

The world ends here
declaration, vow or prayer
no one gets in
and no one gets out
As the rain of people
won't stop seeping
through the roof and into his mind
filling buckets lining the floor
with discordant noise
of all that's wrong with the world
and what big screen TV
will cure what ails the society
'no one get in' said over and over again
in between buckets of noise
thrown over the side
slowing losing to the flooding tide
drowning in a sea
of humanity
