Wake Up!
Time marches on, relentless, unstirred,
Unaware of events,
Events that might alter
The very essence of our shared realm.
The cosmic web shifts, threads anew,
Neither the present
Nor the future
Can claim certainty's helm.
A mist obscures our collective sight,
Save for a few who stand in the light.
Fed with spoonfuls of crafted tales,
Our minds shaped to fit their scales.
We wander through life's foggy veil,
Like somnambulists on a well-trodden trail.
Conditioned beings in an endless cycle,
To work we march, in daily recital.
We return to rest, then rise to repeat,
Patterns ingrained, never to retreat.
Why can't we perceive
Our shackles, our bind,
Freedom's illusion of every kind?
It's time to awaken, to open our eyes,
To see through the mist, the veiled lies.
But my voice, it seems, is but a breeze,
Lost in your slumber, you rest at ease.
And even when heard, you might recoil,
Fearing to disturb the soil.
We dread the unknown of a conscious sphere,
Yet in awareness, truth draws near.
I beckon you now, break through the dread,
Cast off the petty, lift your head.
Expand your thoughts, break the mold,
Go beyond what you've been sold.
Not for me, but for your soul's flight,
For only in waking does the spirit ignite.
There's much to lose, more to find,
In the wakeful world of the unconfined.
Awake, I urge! The stakes are clear,
The call resounds for those who hear.
Wake up, arise, the time is now,
To lift the veil, to disavow.
Unaware of events,
Events that might alter
The very essence of our shared realm.
The cosmic web shifts, threads anew,
Neither the present
