Greedy

wanting more when there's plenty
money in the purse food on the table
robust and well fed, relatively healthy
shouldn't be risked in a gamble

the human heart is always insatiable
seeing beauty when its unattainable
when true kind self sacrifing beauty
stand before them in all its glory

the grass look more lush
in farmer Brown's field
but failed to look hard up close
on the grass dotted with all kinds of turd

greed will never set one free
after the first piece of silver
one will pursue in wanton spree
everything they want getting greedier

they forget compassion and understanding
except for all their wants, and that's everything
