Aspen
My slender Aspen,
blushing beautifully,
I am the Autumn breeze,
gently drawing off
your leaves;
You quiver a moment,
leafless and fair;
How you thrill me,
captivating and coy,
stunningly shapely;
Winter is our
lovers’ bed,
brimming delights
without measure;
Grant me my desire,
Love:
long nights laboring for
your utmost pleasure;
Then Spring,
the dawn,
may burst full bloom,
though perhaps a bit enviously,
for drawing on
a new robe of blossoms
cannot conceal
your ecstasy
