We migrated in from warm breezes
Seeking infatuation
An instant connection

We moved in mirror and spoke in rhyme
Felt the presence of auras
Glowing brighter as closeness grew

We burned like comets
Streaking through the darkness
Lighting the way for those around us

But as we rushed through the night
Atmospheric entanglement
Brought on disintegration

Connection was lost
We dissipated
Then disappeared
