the NorthSouth ballad

i guess i like it here,
warm, bright, and yellow tunes are everywhere!
it’s upbeat and catchy, and everyone sings along,
a very good song, fun and monophonic.

we’re singing so fast, though, that I'm struggling to breathe.
is it hot down here?
i’m sweating more than everyone else.

i’d like to listen to something different now…

i’ve been up there before too.
where the music is sundry and textured,
mysterious dissonance and moody melodies accompany the icy blue atmosphere.

the voices are glacial and layered, each colder than the last, all individual and combining to produce a strange and rare chorus.

the northern song proves more lonesome than its southern competitor,
yet entices and enchants those fevered and winded ears.
it begs a unique and investigative listener, while below requires a chirpy and controllable choir.

i’d like to listen to the northern song now.

i crave to breathe in those arctic notes and discover which peculiar siren beckons me.
i crave to sing up in that cold, capricious chorus, and hear its magnificent crescendo!
