Perfect in Imperfections

I, Grace
a child of Autumn
born under a tropical sky
imperfect gem of life
a beauty only seen by some

in a world that craves perfection
stars are unseen outside the glam circle
craves not for accolades and praises
I stand highlighted in my own aura

there are flaws that mark my soul
there are scars that line old wounds
there are sorrows that furrow
the heart
there are disappointments that line my ambitions

I, Grace
birthstone of tourmaline and opal
I depict balance, harmony and healing
I am Libra
I'm imperfect
in my imperfection
I find my wholeness.
