The struggle I feel
Is real
The battle within myself
is shame I feel
I've quit before for
nearly two years
Only to give in to
The devil within
Do I have the strength
to quit again
to restart the journey
that I began
One day at a time
is what they say
Stay the course
as you may
Throw the nicotine away
leave behind the old way

As I set here disgusted with myself for being a slave to nicotine, I am trying to quit the nasty 30 year habit for good.

I smoked for many years. Quit is the wrong word, it sets you up to fail, stop smoking is easier to get your head around

Took me a good few tries to give up my Marlboro reds.
I eventually quit,it’s been about three years now and I still get a craving from time to time,I quit by buying a pack and not opening it,my uncle taught me that and weird that it actually worked. Good luck man! I hope you can give up those expensive fuckers!
