Should I Be a Native Speaker to Speak English?
Against Bigotry, Racism and Arrogance
I say, I learned English by osmosis
Only through keats and wordsworth
Though, i speak Arabic from birth
Dare i say, i do it just like did Eesa.?
It took me a few months to learn..
Sustained by Latin French language
An asset from colonialism, i earn'd
Sharpen my wit, much more advantage
Three swords in my hand, i can wield
And much more civility, into the bargain
Sorry ! just feel like a valiant knight
chivalric romantic, not robbers' jargon
My tongue gifted, and my spirit lifted
My personality humbled, well-educated
Qorun has smartly, mystically refined
The raw, rude side of the man that was me
This was not a chanllenge, only an orange
The red light would blink, were i trespassed !
Better leave the dormant waters unstirred
keep cool, hope my message was clearly aired !!!
