The ego

It seems like the ego is an avatar for your consciousness, it resides in this matter body which is bound to be decomposed at some point of our perceived timeline leaving just bones behind, but what happens to the ego when we return to that void, when our core consciousness becomes one with that mass of energy, that stream that streams creation, what kind of "bones" we leave behind? At a first glance, when you lose everything, when you die and forget who you used to be, what would possibly matter and why should it matter before we die? Is it the impact you make on other people's lives that matters or is it that our core consciousness will hold the lessons that we took in this brief paradox we call life and evolve accordingly?
The power of the ego in this dimension is big, and that's how it's supposed to be, or there would be no ego. But beyond this universe, it has no power, its construction breaks down to nothingness, because it's not needed anymore.
Ego will be ego as long as forever lasts here. It will protect you by sacrificing anything at hand. Its job is you survive and you have as few uncomfortable emotions as possible. And you may not be fully responsible for what it has become but you as the observer, as your soul can make it understand new needs and integrate all its parts, leading it with the light of your inner wisdom, which is immoral, which is pure.
