Last Christmas...

Those frilly little snowflakes
the melancholic cold winter breeze
fresh frosty freeze on your nose

No hot chocolate but some cakes
wish there was snow, to seize
the days of cold, cheeks that froze

Hand to hold, walk the holly
and then at night, feel the jolly
mistletoe, presents-a-plenty

How I wished
for a white Christmas this year,
no presents wrapped
none but a lone cheer,
no tree, and lights that sneer
as I drive past these festive streets.

Santa claus,
Have I been a naughty girl?

Next year, will you visit?

Send your elves to make my toys
I'll promise, to cherish the joys

So please, please, please!

Come down my chimney new year...
