My 2024

2024, I am coming in bats swinging pitching for a home run
Only thing that I am seeing in my tunnel vision is victory
No more playing the back
I am taking center stage and letting the spotlight shine on me
I am dusting off my crown and place it on my head
2024, I am sitting my ass on my rightful thrown
Strutting my goddess title and being treated as such
 
I fought off everything from depression to health issues  
So, I would be damn if I succumb to a death date, yet
I have so much more to offer to this world, so there will be no pulling the plug on me
 
2024, I am being more free and open with myself
Not biting my tongue, when it comes to my desires and what I want out of life
Most people live to die, but I am dying to live
Besides why be born into the world
When you are not living in your truth and purpose
That will certainly not be me
