I love the metaphor with the hurricane and the name. It's quite beautiful imagery. You write well, and I hope you trust that inner voice. Because I didn't for many years, and I know what it's like.
I also have a person in my life like what you described. And it's hard, but I love him always. I've learned from the Notre Dame movie that maybe I won't get my happy ending, but it won't leave me bitter.

Love the metaphor. I've had a couple storms myself. I guess that's normal. The lines in this fit together well, I'm sure its a great song.

The lyrics were straight from the heart and I asked ‘Chris’, the lady who sung it.
By Bluesworld she’s regarded as the best female blues singer on the European mainland and I’m proud of the result.
It resonated with many many people. An estimated 8.000 people came to read and listen in the Netherlands and on ‘songwriters in the kitchen’, a small composers’ forum. No small feat for most fora are in hibernation nowadays.
