Sleep, come
Sleep, come
Quiet this raging mind
Tossed among the waves
A broken sail in an unforgiving sea
Sleep, come
Send me back to younger years
When a barefoot trodden child
Roamed blind but blissfully free
Sleep, come
Wrap your loving arms around
A broken shell smashed upon the rocks
And wash me out into the deep
Sleep, come
Carry me to saddened shores
Where I can cry myself to you
And everyone just lets me be
Quiet this raging mind
Tossed among the waves
A broken sail in an unforgiving sea
Sleep, come
Send me back to younger years
When a barefoot trodden child
Roamed blind but blissfully free
Sleep, come
Wrap your loving arms around
A broken shell smashed upon the rocks
And wash me out into the deep
Sleep, come
Carry me to saddened shores
Where I can cry myself to you
And everyone just lets me be
