Awakening
Nothing kills you more than your own thoughts - unknown
Inescapable,
this gnawing ache of the agonized heart.
Inner lotus closed, a non existent pull.
Infinities deep in the existential search,
a melancholy art.
That a truth so profound will seize our soul,
make the ache an awakening.
Now you actually hear the starlings piercing song.
Your enlightenment glistens divine
with angel's tears that clung for so long.
Tears of joy, that you voyaged the stark blackness of your fears.
To emerge and
Newborn thought appears.
Inescapable,
this gnawing ache of the agonized heart.
Inner lotus closed, a non existent pull.
Infinities deep in the existential search,
a melancholy art.
That a truth so profound will seize our soul,
make the ache an awakening.
Now you actually hear the starlings piercing song.
Your enlightenment glistens divine
with angel's tears that clung for so long.
Tears of joy, that you voyaged the stark blackness of your fears.
To emerge and
Newborn thought appears.

Aww I'm glad. I've done alot of reading on how our thoughts will master us if we don't master them. I've awakened to a different way of thinking. Yes I still nurse my melancholy thoughts, lol. But I believe you can think your way into hope.

Overthinking is the worst thing you can do in terms of anxiety, at least for me. I try to not allow my mind to do that ( that's my natural inclination to overthink) if it's something beyond my control, I do not overthink it. Thanks so much for reading

If we tie our thoughts with good words as soon as they rage, then we fear not depressive thinking..o

Hi! I do believe we can battle away bad thoughts. We are what we think. Thanks so much for checking my post out.

Very vivid, lucid, and visual depiction here. You get to the point in how you use analogous metaphor in this. Like you long for truth and purpose, in what's been pondered upon the ages. If such is seemingly obvious, then you know it's concrete and evident, only yet to be discovered. It's as if you see that it could be that way, in how you see it in others, yet they go unknowing of this discovery. Maybe you long for them to see the struggle of your own to find such thoughts. Anyway, that's just some of what I pick up. Maybe I'm wrong. Good job of writing as always.

That was complex ( what I wrote). I guess my wish is our pain transforms into an awakening. That's what my life is at the moment, the lessons I can find in very acute pain. Thank you ever so much for your feedback, I love hearing your thoughts.
