Alive in a Ghost Town

Daily zombie parade
death of the social charade
preoccupied ghosts by the score
all neighbors ignored
I can't take it anymore
I want to move to a ghost town

Small town vibe
united tribe
easy to be
a community
historical site
party at night
small mountain town
I'm new life bound
I want to move to a ghost town.

In the town of Jerome
I might finally feel at home
my neighbors would know my name
lack of distractions
lots of local interaction
I think I would thrive
where people actually act alive
I want to live in a ghost town

Author's Note
I saw something recently about Jerome, Arizona, a historical ghost town, and started contemplating how the real ghost towns are the big cities.
