You are invited to look
Slowly
With unashamed eyes
Freed of Puritanical guilt
Linger
Over what you find enticing
As I am displayed
Naked and aroused before you
You are invited to touch
With your fingers, your lips
Strength
In taught muscles, softness of flesh
Wetness of arousal, gasps of pleasure
As your lover’s touch
Finds it’s unique mark
You are invited into me
My body enveloping yours
Satisfying both our desires
The shared pleasure of us

Author's Note
I have been working on a drawing project for a while. The poem was inspired by the drawing. I wanted to combine the two into a single composition. I would appreciate feedback on the poem, the drawing and the overall composition. The drawing was done from a reference photo.

Lovely enticing combination in picture and word. The Beloved presenting herself for her Lover's pleasure. Who could say No to such an invitation to a doggy? Favourite lines:

Couldn't help thinking up a rhyming caption for the picture:
My invitation is accepted,
Nothing you can do is excepted,
Your triumphal entry expected
when you're sufficiently erected
for our bodies to be connected....
