The Boy and The Girl.

She was 17.
So was He,
They both lived in lives of hate
They never understood the reason they were there,
He lived downtown
so did She
They both went to the same school of the same year
He would go to the library and read the novels that intrigued him relentlessly not knowing she was just in the next section reciting poetry in her head.
She lived 4 blocks from him, always staring at the ground while he rode by on his bike his eyes trying not to be seduced by the sky.

Her mother was a drinker
His father was abusive

His mother died when he was 4
Her father left when she was born.

Her scars were seen from her arms
His bruises were hidden by his sleeves

They both had much agony, much to say.
Never met and yet so much in common, They would sit across from each other at lunch, one time bumped into each other in the hall:
"Sorry, I wasn't aware where I was walking"
He spoke as he picked up her books.
she smiled for once, as she grabbed her books from him, he suddenly grinned as she was about to speak... She saw the man.
The man who was the liar to his intentions. She ran away and the Boy never felt so defeated in his life.
The girl went to the bathroom vomiting in the toilet, "Why did it have to be him..." As she grabbed her stomach and rubbed her belly.
That man was a teacher, a well-known teacher who raped her and got her pregnant.
Her belly could show and she was always covering it from other eyes. She was sick half the time. Not from the pregnancy, from the lack of love.
He was called to the office. His father was waiting for him, "Let's go, you have some explaining to do."
The boy trembled, feeling anxious and despised.
When they got in the car the father beat him so hard he wasn't able to move.
"That's for stealing the money I saved for Lenny!!""What Ray? Why the fuck did you do that?!?!"
"YOU NOW HOW MUCH THAT TOOK ME YOU DUMB FUCK!"
He never got the money, never knew he had some saved up..His father just blamed him because he was a compulsive gambler needing the thrill of having more.
They both stayed home for days.
His father left town, not wanting him to go with him.
Her mother was fucking around as usual, not caring for her at all.
She had lost the baby, He had found out she was expecting a child and caught up to her after school.
"I hear your expecting something Tori, It's mine isn't it?" He grabbed her and took her to the janitor closet where he took her last time.
He grabbed her hard roughed her up. "I never wanted this you stupid Bitch!!" as he hit her stomach so much. She cried through eyes and screamed through the tape covering her mouth. Then he raped her again, just leaving her to herself in the closet alone.

His father decided to get out of town before Lenny could find out what really happened. He was by himself. Never having being more abandoned than when his mom left him.

They never felt so much than what they felt before.
They hated themselves wanted out of this world.
Wanted out of all of it..

They both had an Idea.

She went to the bathroom and opened the cupboard
he went to his father's room and opened the box inside of the desk

She grabbed her mother's pills
He grabbed his father's gun
She went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water, getting her razor as well
He went to the living room and grabbed a pair of scissors as well
they both cut into their arms and wrote out a messaged that explained it all:
Liberation
She put the pills in her mouth
He put the gun to his head

they were both dead.

she lies motionless
on her bed she sighs and starts to tear her heart out one by one
he lies breathless
on the floor nothing waking him from the doubt he has lived by for so long.

Two people who will never know the reason why they were there:
For Each Other...
Tori+Ray forever
