Memory
         unsummoned
                                        grips
Deer in the headlight
                f r o z e n
Holding onto
     scattered wits
When moments
                        best forgotten
           return
Full force
Into the shuddering
                light
        of day
And knees
                  give way
Under the
     unbearably
                            crushing
                                            weight
S  l  o  w   motion  filter  
           tortures

Opens
