Shango, The Yoruba God Of Lightning And Thunder

I hear unrest from the skies, the voices from the untilled land of B.C., the deferred promises of A.D.
Had I looked not beyond the mountaintops, for mankind eyes should be in the temple on bent knees
Terrains, landfills violated for what would I have seen
A man upon a cross, calculated demise who only believed in a universal dream
Traveling cobblestone roads, blistery feet
The blood upon Roman’s hands stained upon hearts of fate upon the wickedness for whom it greets
I am Shango, the Yoruba God of fire, virility, bata dance, justice, lightning and thunder
Unto the messages I speak shall be rendered from the skies on earth until life and death asunder

Author's Note
Shango is a Yoruba god of thunder, lightning, fire, virility, bata dance, and justice. He is also regarded as the patron god of twins, or Ibeji, who are sometimes referred to as “thunder children”

Shango is the most powerful of the Orishas among the pantheon worshiped by the people of Yorubaland He is revered for his wisdom and connection to the ancestors.

I have brought forth the divine messages of the Yoruba Goddesses, let’s see what spiritual universal mantras these Yoruba Gods have mastered for mankind.
