Image for the poem I Draw My Love

I Draw My Love

INSIDE ROARE
"I Draw My Love"

I'm drawing I don't know what, someone else's face.
I draw ... a few bad strokes, someone else.
A little ugly, somehow beautiful
probably pretty interesting.

R: To wave a magic brush,
to touch the canvas, which comes to life.
Tears well up in my eyes
and I with a faithful soul.
      I swear I drew you.

I draw .... even with my eyes closed in tears,
I'm drawing .... I can't stop when you call me through the silent screen.

MzRf: Who are you, why does your image grip my chest,
        I have no idea,
your portrait is looking at me from the canvas.
And in my hands my great tears are cupped.

R: To wave a magic brush,
to touch the canvas, which comes to life.
Tears well up in my eyes
and I with a faithful soul.
      I swear I drew you.

Who are you, who am I actually drawing?
you are who i draw
who am i actually drawing
i draw
