Alteration of need seeks redemption
in the dying of the night shrieking in opposition to the light

crucifying the darkened desires spoken
in readiness of hope to be fulfilled in dire need
Sycophant of passion
willing myself ever closer to the edge

A cloistered thought held captive
chaste a vision denying ones own figment
Torturous lust is rebellious
a wailing of voices grieve deep inside

Inflamed ardor is given reprieve
it shall have its last meal
to dine on the willing sacrifice

I open myself to the notions at hand
deeply and darkly a dream
drinking from fantasy

A vampire to my soul freed
to reap in harmonious stead
with the damned
Orbiting the day's last blush

as pink turns crimson
