Hop in Boy

Hop in boy
Won’t you take a ride?
Everything works
And it’s warm inside

Been used, been driven
both near and far
Guess you could say
She’s an economy car

Not much trouble
And her motor’s fine
Start her up
She can really whine

Once you get her goin’
Her motor’s hot
So give her a jump
And slip your key in her slot

Ride might be bumpy
She likes to feel the road
But when it’s time to come
The girl can take your load

Author's Note
After talking to a car salesman to see what I could get for the car I've had since college, I jotted down these silly lyrics for a non-existent song. Pic is a good friend and her car. I wrote about her marriage a while back. She's beautiful. https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/poems/487014-my-friends-orgasm/
