well this is rather bold so you are tempted to take somas which can cause problems I wonder is it sadness that makes you want to sleep? in any case a brave and open write....

By "soma", I mean the body as distinct from the soul, mind, or psyche.

I was trying to put modern culture into context, in terms of living in extravagance, luxury and convenience, creating greed, power, wealth, influence, etc., and what it does to the mind, in terms of taking things for granted, and becoming morally misconstrued, as well as ignorant.  The interjection of technology, in general, has corrupted mankind, especially since it fuels the globalization of economy and politics.  I guess that's somewhat evident, as this rhyme goes on, in what I'm attempting to depict.  It is seemingly evident, especially now, in the world, that there is no hope in our governments.  Nations and empires have always gone to war, all throughout the history of humankind.  It's the ultimate lesson of this age, that we are incapable of governing ourselves, and would annihilate all living things on earth, given the opportunity.

I see it's very deep I just didn't clue in really well perhaps it's lack of command of the language... my vocabulary and tying it all together...I just read somas and thought it was giving you male troubles...I feel foolish now...I apologize for my misunderstanding however it is a bit cryptic...

Yeah, it's complete and whole 2-syllable and 3-syllable words that rhyme, in an attempt to carry direction, transition, and theme, in a sort of concise way.  I leave a lot up to the reader to try to comprehend, in terms of how they interpret words, and perhaps their own emotional, semantical observance.  That's what makes art, in many ways.  In this instance, yeah, there is a lot of heavy and dense association of words.  I find it fun in attempting to use such a format, sometimes.  I can write in many other styles, as well.  Anyway, thank you for taking the time to check it out.
