two brothers
(opposition disposition)

one is a priest,
the other is a pest;
him, too, a beast.
his sibling does his best,
sending the light,
where brother casts a plight;
the one engaged,
the other man enraged.
one is a friend,
the other full of ire;
him, too, a fiend,
his sib the world’s desire.
one shifts the blame,
his brother takes the hurt;
one mends the lame,
the other rends the heart.
one is a boast,
the other is a toast;
him, so refined,
his brother undefined.
the one, death-sick,
the next heals with music;
one brother staying,
the odd one go-away-ing.

This paints such an accurate picture in so many families, Cab. All one can do is send love and light to the afflicted soul that can't seem to find peace within themselves.

In these days, even as in the distant past, brother is against brother (Cain and Abel, Esau and Jacob), wife against husband (Job's trial), mother against mother (one mother wanted Solomon to cut a baby in two after stealing another mother's baby), and so on.
Ultimately, we live in a time of great controversy between good and evil, which has existed since war broke out in heaven, when Lucifer (now Satan) rebelled against his Creator and was expelled with his followers.
Good and evil will never be reconciled, but evil will be destroyed and good shall prevail forever.
