*The woman in her*
Why can't women really be who they are?
They are judged and shunned and left with invisible scars
Us women, we are fragile, broken from expectations
It shouldn't take a revelation
for people to know
The beauty inside of a woman is what should show
There's dark all around us
why can't someone love the heart of the woman, the part that should glow
Why is her light tainted
Why is her face painted
Leave her face bare
Her true side to be shared
take her hand
and show her the love
that she never expected
but from above
They are judged and shunned and left with invisible scars
Us women, we are fragile, broken from expectations
It shouldn't take a revelation
for people to know
The beauty inside of a woman is what should show
There's dark all around us
why can't someone love the heart of the woman, the part that should glow

Her true side to be shared
take her hand
and show her the love
