Parched earth
Parched lips
cracked, worne
parched kiss
the bare earth that meets the storm
petrocor and muddied earth
viscera, a fluid rebirth
petulant pronounced pustule of pink upon the face
a drop of earth, to grow, to be disgraced.

The way you cook meat

The way you are always neat
and how you smell too
Your nose, your lips, your hips
the touch of your fingertips
The way you talk and walk and squak
the way you jaunt and jive
the way you look at things, unsoiled
the gap between your thies
the time, with you, between the
guise put on for work, usurped
Inviting, sometimes delighting in whats
here ...
