Exhausted

I can hear the wind
Whistling quietly
Through my lightly opened window
As the cool breeze sweeps through
And gently cools my legs
Also reminding me
That it is time
To close my window
And pull down the blinds
Closing out the cold
And the outside world
Such as the sounds
Of early evening traffic
I am now left alone
In my silence
And my solitude
I switch on the radio
Not really listening
But appreciate the company
Then my ears pick up the words
'Climate change'
(The planet is tired)
A question that i always have
Was asked, and answered.....
"Unless every country on this planet
Does what needs to be done....."
I switched the radio off
Opened up the blinds
Opened up the window
And breathed in the cool night air
Listening to the sounds of traffic
With it's tired exhausts
