Dreams Of A Phoenix
It was weird
To return
To the graveyard
Of my former life
As i poked among the ashes
Of an old love
Therein
Within
Flickered a bright flame
That is our daughter
And grandson
And for that special moment
The sun shone again
Here i am
Just two weeks on
And it was like
I'd fallen into a surreal portal
And the rest was but a dream
