The 46

Siblings on the bus, a lively scene
With laughter, chatter and joyful beam.
Together as travel, side by side,
Miles apart, yet heart to heart tied.

As we look out through the window,
The world passes us by like a show,
The bustling streets, the people and cars.
Melodies of life float in like stars.

Author's Note
Having once lived more than 300 miles from family, just before the COVID pandemic, family came to be in the same city. We are now in the same city, yet still far apart and rely on the bus network to get to any one of our respective homes. This is about me and my siblings travelling around our city on the aforementioned bus network.
