They are staring
all the crazy poets
a trillion eyes
watching their thoughts
pour away
phrases streaming
from a broken gutter
in the rain
Sanity's token shutters
creak and tease the wind
while the words come out to play
leading the blind
to a one eyed king
creation's altar
and their sacrifice
of time
