I like the order you put these in. They combine to remind us of universal experiences we all likely feel in different ways. I get what you mean about needing the pain. Great write.

Another senryś masterpiece and outstanding poem within in a poem, Colin. Letting the pain become a sort of lighthouse, directing traffic, so to speak, is relatable and deeply felt.
