Dark hunger

I awake groggy, heated and haunted by my ghosts.
Emerging from what felt like a lust drenched dream.
Why are their claw marks piercing the sheets?
Scanning the room for further proof,
a glimpse of hell's hologram.
Whatever ravaged me wasn't a man.
From vast far away, the monster inoculates my mind.
Banishing all thoughts of a logical kind.
Scraping to my core, my longings nobody knows,
scattered upon my soul's floor.
Should the monster return,
he will gnaw my succulent secrets, stroking my bones.
Should I choose wicked ecstasy or plain old sanity?
There is no choice, the monster's grip is in full possession of me now.
My dark's ache and burn with his forbidden vow.
