I ordered the Adrian Broner fight...
I remember...
Sitting at the apartment of
my mistress...
Watching him fight: Circa 2011.
He is from Cincinnati...
I knew a lot of good fighters
from Ohio...
Then...
I remember talking to
my dad on a prison phone...
Listening to his playback
of the Broner V Maidana fight...
Broner has signed with Don King...
But yes...
I ordered the fight...
What can I say...
I am a fight aficionado...
I remember...

As writers/poets we all come from different walks of life. But the one thing in common is
space in time amigo. Having our ritual of the day but always alike in poetry at our fingertips.
This was short but everyone can relate!
It felt nostalgic and authentic to your true self.
