MY Dark Side
Oh yes, I have a dark side
But you won't get to see it.
I keep it locked inside my head
Where all dark things should be.
Oh yes, I have a demon
He's the king of my own hell
And if you try to show me the light
He'll take you there as well.
Oh yes, I had an angel
But she wasn't good for me
She wouldn't let me be myself
She said, secrets are for keeps.
Oh yes, I have a story
I wear my heart upon my sleeve
And I'll only let you in
If you promise not to leave.
Oh no, don't be mistaken
Please don't be misled
I don't need your approval
I've got the demons in my head.
