Saltwater Flowers

I'm eyeing a blinding horizon
Walking on saltwater diamonds
They draw blood with each step I take
Life never promises any breaks

You really tried hard to pull me down
Reaching for my ankles hoping I'd drown
From an ocean filled with meth
I learned to walk on water
You flunked addiction's test

I'm going it alone
Surviving the aftermath
Just me and my tired bones
Cleansed in a sunbath

Let it storm let it bang
Let it try to steal my breath
Cause I've finally woke up
I'll never be the same again

I'm growing towards a horizon
My blood bloomed Saltwater Flowers
As far as the eye can see
That's all that's left of
A thirty year memory

Let it storm let it go
Let it bang let it grow
Saltwater Flowers

As far as the eye can see
A thirty year memory
Cut me then set me free
