Zoo, Not Logical

Periods, pregnancy, and the menopause
I have, and never will endure
Male violence however
Has on many times, left me insecure

As they beat me, and kicked me
And one time hit me with a sock
Which contained two snooker balls
Repeatedly hit upon my head, my brains to unlock

My nose had been bloodied
My eyes black, and blue
The only message from these bastards was
"We really hate you!"

But somehow i survived this
Many times i thought i'd die
As bloodied tears, ran down my face
As i would often cry

So i know of the terrible violence
That some few men can do
As i dwelt within the confines
Of this brutal human zoo
